Football has been part of my life since seventh grade. A thumb injury forced me off the field at age 27 and I found Fantasy Football shortly thereafter. That was 1990, when my first pick was Troy Aikman. I discovered Individual Defensive Players in 1992, Won my first IDP title in 1993, and started writing my column, Eyes of the Guru in 1994. A few years later, Bob Henry and I got together and formed Red Eye Sports, a site that gave equal emphasis to the fantasy game on both sides of the ball. In 2005, David Dodds approached us about a business deal and we became Footballguys.
Among other things, my role at FBG includes both pre and in-season projections, along with my EOTG series that breaks down every team in IDP fantasy terms over the summer, provides pre-season updates, and a weekly in-season column where I pass along everything I see that has fantasy implications.
